How to install an Aqua Ultraviolet filter. A wiper is a squeegee-type rubber fitting around the quartz sleeve, connected to a handle which can be pulled and pushed to clean off the quartz sleeve.   How does an Aqua Ultraviolet filter work?

"Twist" Ultraviolet Units: Aqua Ultraviolet's new ultraviolet filter with an integral expansion union. Expansion union allows the user to rotate the ports to any Inlet/Outlet angle and to add units, thus increasing ultraviolet wattage and optimizing space constraints. Each "Twist" Unit includes: (1) UV unit, (1) lamp, (1) quartz sleeve, (1) transformer, (2) mounting clips, (1) expansion union, (2) standard unions. Units below have black housing, "Twist" side ports, no wiper and an "EZ Twist" cap. An "EZ Twist" cap allows access to the quartz sleeve and bulb at the electrical end of the unit.

"Twist" Ultraviolet Units with Wipers: Black housing, "Twist" side ports, with wiper and an "EZ Twist" cap. An "EZ Twist" cap allows access to the quartz sleeve and bulb at the electrical end of the unit.
