IlluminFx Fiber Optic Lighting

IlluminFx is the first fiber optic lighting system designed specifically for ponds and water features. It is a unique product to the world of landscape and aquatic lighting.

Fixtures are 3/8" in diameter, making them easy to hide
Light is generated outside the pond - no electricity in the water.
Light output from each cable is comparable to a 20 watt wide flood
No heat is generated by the fixtures, eliminating water temperature changes
Kits can have up to 16 fixtures driven off of one light bulb.

All Fiber Optic Lighting Kits include: Illuminator, pre-cut pre-harnessed cable assembly, designated number of fixtures, installation and maintenance manuals.

 We have found over the years that conventional sealed beam lighting for ponds tends to be short lived and problematic. It also puts electricity in the pond, which we prefer to avoid. Typical submerged sealed beam lighting life expectency is 6 months to 2 years.

Although the initial cost is admittedly high, fiber optics provides minimum maintenance, safer, easier to install permanent lighting. The fiber optic cable looks a lot like a black extension cord. It's very flexible and easy to conceal in the landscape and very fast to install. It's also very easy to conceal the end of this cable in the waterfall, in the pond, or near the pond in the landscape. It's extremely easy to move to a new location. The end result is a simple and almost mysterious emission of light from an unseen source.
