Option Installation with bonded Rock on Feet of Drain As an option, the installer of a retrodrain can elect to bond double fist size river washed cobble stones to the feet of the drain. We recommend doing this in installations where large dogs can sometimes get in the pond and knock these rocks out of place. Also where very high flow rates are present. (If they are loose rocked into place.) Also useful in ponds with very large koi. We prefer to use Sikaflex for this purpose. The pictures above show a cobblestone rock bonded to the foot of a small (D514) retrodrain, using Sikaflex. See larger picture for reference at top of page. |
