The settling chamber is gravity fed
from the pond.
The pump system draws off of the settling
chamber and pumps to a main biological filter.
Shown here are two methods of draining waste from the settling
chamber (where gravity allows):
Note the (dotted line) standpipe attached
to the drain line. One simply unscrews, or slips the standpipe
out of the drain port for removal of waste.
