Although placing the rocks loosley as ahown, speeds up the set-up time, of the water feature, we would recommend a minimum maintenance long term approach.

  Placing this river washed round rock directly into a bed of colored concrete mortar mix will ultimately provide for a better looking water freature and allow for a greater amount of the water pumped to flow over the rocks, providing a more natural look. Mortar filling the space between the rocks prevents organic wast build up and yearly breakdown and extensive cleaning of the water course.
