 17. Finished bamboo water return feature in operation.

18. Finished equipment. Pump house shown here with cover. Black unit on left is the pressurized filter. Black unit on the right is a 25 watt Aqua Ultraviolet unit. Note the use of unions entering and exiting the filter and UV unit.

 19. View of exposed finished pump house. The white knife valve to the right of the pump house isolates the suction plumbing from the pump house to provide access to the leaf trap.

20. Close up of UV Filter. Note the use of unions before and after filter.  Note the painting of exposed pipe. This paint acts as a sun screen to increase the life of the pipe.

 21. Monty enjoying his finished pond renovation! The light colored pond bottom and plumbing will soon cover over with a green carpet of beneficial aerobic algae.

 22. Finished close up photo of the bridge and bamboo water return feature.

These last two pictures were taken about 2 months after finishing the renovation.
Note the cover of the bottom and sides of the pond with beneficial aerobic algae.

A letter from Monty's human

Hi Bruce, Everything is going great with the pond. We get compliments all the time. The fish are much livelier and we have another 3 tiny ones. The storm blew a lot of stuff in but we just skimmed it all out. I've checked the leaf holder twice but there hasn't been anything in it.

The web site looks great and I sent it off to Scotland, England, Australia and all parts of the USA. Thanks again for a great job.
