4. No liner under stone work and no steel work in waterfall construction created this large crack.

 6. Example of collected waste on floor of the pond. Note gravel on the floor intesifies waste build up. Blackened floor of pond on the right is anaerobic bacterial growth - to be avoided.

   
7. Classic example of the results of the organic debris left on the bottom of the pond. This photo was taken within 5 minutes of vacuming up the waste on the floor. Blackened area is anaerobic growth; once exposed to air it dies off within 20-30 minutes. See photo # 12 on Page 2.
