9" Disc Diffuser: Can be adapted to fit a Tetra bottom drain (with some modifications), Aqua Art Retro-Drains or the 4" spin drain. FlexAir™ disc diffuser bodies are made of high-strength polypropylene with 3/4" MNPT connections. Diffuser has a minimum of 6,600 engineered air release orifices. Special design of the EPDM membrane with its engineered thickness taper, results in full utilization of the membrane surface, even at low airflow operations. The disc diffuser has an integral "triple" check valve to prevent fluid backflow. Normal airflow range is 0-5 cfm. Resistance is about 10" H20 when clean. Disc diffusers have fine bubble EPDM membranes. Medium, coarse and coarse/fine combination membranes are also available.

Air Blower:

Use with biological filters using 2" PVC blower manifolds.
Blower & perforated PVC air blower manifold systems (see S824 below) are typically used under gravel media masses to fluidize media beds
This agitation breaks up clogged gravel media. As a result, one never needs to completely break down this heavy media bed to clean.
This air blower is NOT intended for use as a constant pond aeration

(V291 Below) This spring check valve is intended for use on air blowers for pressurized bio filters with ploy bead media or conventional gravel bed ( non-pressurized). Not to be used for water filter/ plumbing on pond systems, only for use wih air. Non pond applications with potable water is fine. 1 1/2” pipe glues into slip socket. 2” fitting glues to the outside (O.D. spigot) diameter of the fitting. 1/4 pound pressure opens valve.
