The Performance Pro "Cascade" line is the perfect choice for efficiency and reliability.  Ideal for your pond, water feature, or general transfer and recirculation needs  Cascade pumps produce excellent flow rates at sufficient pressure to get the job done  The industrial grade Noryl® housings are built for long term use  A strainer basket may be attached to facilitate priming and to strain the inflow.  Available in 1/8 to 1/4 hp @ 1725 rpm and 1/3  to 2 hp at 3450 rpm.  Specify 115 v or 230 v  2 speed units available upon request  3 year warrantee Performance Pro "Cascade" series pumps have 1 1/2" female pipe tread suction and discarge ports. Do not guage pipe size to be used on your system by this port size. Rather, use friction loss chart, total length of pipe and fittings used to determine pipe size. See "The Art of Calculations". Item C249 has 1 1/2" female slip sockets for 1 1/2" pipe. The outside diameter of the socket end of the C249 union accepts 2" PVC fittings, e.g.: couplings, male and female adapters, 90°s, 45°s etc.
